Our Staff

At The Results Room we like to think we are setting the standard for quality, education, and diversification within our coaching staff.

All our coaches live by a common code of conduct as below:

We will train and eat according to our specific goal at any given time.

We will continue to learn through reading, following, and studying the top experts in the field.

We are professional in every aspect of our job, including when we are training.

We make our clients our number one priority and always “under promise and over deliver”.

We will never cancel on a client unless sick or injured or when circumstances that are out of our control arise.

There is only one correct way to do an exercise and we will coach our clients appropriately to achieve this; if they cannot perform the exercise we will adjust our programs accordingly.

If we cannot help a client we will refer them to a specialist who can.

We will listen to what the client wants to achieve and satisfy this in the best way we know how.

All clients are treated equally no matter who they are, or what they represent.

The Results Room Coaches:

Daniel Sutherland

Owner/ Coach / Exercise Physiologist

About Dan

Your attitude determines your destiny, for many years i chased the dream of a professional athlete, which has put me on the path to opening The Results Room.

I grew up in a small rural community called Matata, in the Bay of Plenty of NZ. Sport was always high on the agenda and I played representative Rugby Union since the age of 16.

I left my humble rural upbringing to venture to the University Of Otago where the pinnacle was representing New Zealand Universities. During those 5 years of study, I discovered my passion for health, fitness and athletic conditioning, but more so my strengths in leadership, self management and innovative program design.

After graduating I moved to Queensland where I played 3 seasons of premier grade Rugby in Brisbane, and a single game for the Queensland Reds. It was in Brisbane where I first established my business as a personal trainer. Following this, I spent 2 years in the UK playing professional Rugby in Glasgow, Scotland and London, England.

Over the past decade I have been working within the health and fitness industry. Throughout that time, I have seen the very best and worst exercise practitioners working within an industry that fails to govern its own practice standards. It’s for this reason, I opened The Results Room, I wanted to provide the highest level of expertise in an environment that was inspiring.

Owner/  Cross Fit Coach / Personal Trainer

About Peta

After recovering from a serious back injury, which slowed me down for almost five years… I never
thought I would exercise again. However I slowly re-introduced exercise back into my life and it quite
literally saved my life. Anyone who has suffered from health issues, accidents, injuries and illnesses
knows that there is no substitute for your health and nothing more concerning when your health is at
risk.

I love feeling fit and healthy, challenging my mind and body and discovering things that I never thought
I’d be able to do. I want this same feeling for my clients…

I want our clients to live a fit, healthy and happy life….to challenge, support and encourage them, be
there for their successes and their fails. To motivate them when they don’t want to be here and push
them when they do.

The Results Room isn’t just another gym, it’s Dan, Mason and my life.. Our members are like family and
seeing them become healthier and happier versions of themselves is the reason I get out of bed every
day.

If I was to sum up my fitness philosophy in one quote it would be “Work hard and strive to be the best
version of yourself that you possibly can!”
